Self Introduction
I am a Toronto-born educator, journalist and musician. Drawing upon my 30-year career in the media, I teach courses in journalism, media studies, broadcasting, writing, listening and speech communications. As a journalist, I have worked as a newscaster at NHK, as a radio announcer at Inter-FM and as the editor-in-chief of EURObiZ magazine and the ACCJ Journal. I also recently produced a CD of my own original music.
Message to Students
Watching students improve motivates me to continue doing my best in the classroom. Because of my varied background, my classes are different; fun, engaging and enlightening. You will work hard in my courses but also enjoy coming to class each week. My goal is to give students a new perspective on the media, journalism, writing and communication.
